Following the publication of the invitation to submit expressions of interest for the transfer of the company assets, the Extraordinary Commissioners (Prof. E. D’Amico, Prof. G. Losito, Avv. M. Ascione Ciccarelli) received strong and significant interest from leading companies operating both in Italy and abroad.
Potential investors who were positively assessed were admitted to the Company's analysis and due diligence through access to a specific virtual data room (VDR) which contains all the information useful for the evaluation of the business complex.
On 6 September 2024, the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (MiMiT) authorized, pursuant to art. 42 of Legislative Decree 270/1999, the start of the sale procedure for the FIMER business complex in execution of the transfer program and, consequently, the process letter containing the terms and methods for submitting binding offers, which must be received no later than 15:00 CET on 15 October 2024, was sent to all potential investors.
The awarding of the FIMER business complex will then take place in compliance with the tender notice.
