Following its official transition from the ABB solar inverter business in 2020, Italian solar inverter manufacturer FIMER made its debut at the International Green Energy Expo, Korea’s flagship PV trade show. The three-day event took place from April 28 to 30, 2021 at the Exco Dongguan Exhibition Hall in Daegu, drawing over 20,000 participants on-site and online.
Korea’s push for carbon neutrality is on track and stronger than ever, having added a record 4.1GW of solar in 2020 in spite of the coronavirus situation. Showcasing a comprehensive range of solar inverters for the C&I and utility-scale segments alongside its EVI solutions, FIMER demonstrated its readiness to support Korea’s initiative in installing 30.8 GW of solar by 2030, in line with the country’s Renewable Energy 3020 Plan.
Said FIMER Korea Country Manager Jun-Beom An: “We are delighted to have successfully debuted FIMER at Korea’s largest solar trade show, which provided us with a platform to reconnect with existing customers, and meet new installers and EPC’s. Offering one of the broadest solar inverter portfolios on the market, we are well equipped to support Korea’s carbon neutral ambitions even as the country ramps up the construction of ground mounted and floating solar parks.”
The world’s fourth largest manufacturer of solar inverter solutions captivated event participants with a bold brand presence from its booth, calling on them to embrace a New Era in solar. Visitors had the opportunity to experience ‘live’ demonstrations of FIMER’s Italian made string inverters, including the KS (Korean Industrial Standards)-certified TRIO-50.0-TL, as well as the PVS-175-TL, PVS-50-TL, and REACT 2. They were also treated to a preview of new PVS-10/33-TL three-phase inverter range, set to launch in-market by Q4 2021.
He added: “FIMER has a strong presence in the Korean C&I market. Our powerful line of single- and three-phase string inverters provide small to medium-sized PV installations with high performance, ease of installation, and a quick return on investment. All of FIMER’s string inverters are proudly made in Italy and we were able to give visitors the opportunity to experience our product quality in-person at the event. Furthermore, it is worth noting that in Korea, FIMER’s extensive range of solutions, excellent product availability, as well as warehouse and logistical solutions provide our customers with an edge in optimizing their PV installations.”
