JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE
The required profile will overview all internal logistics processes, including manage rates for local transportation, introduce and manage Logistics Engineering concepts (layout, flow, equipment) and introduce and manage new features to WMS (as a business requestor).
ACTIVITIES
- Warehouse storage and logistics process design overview to increase efficiency
- Design and implement successful logistics layout with CAD tools
- Manage local transportations between company warehouses and the production plant, and with manufacturing outsourcers
- Work closely with manufacturing dept to manage raw material and semi-finished products internal movement
- Manage relations with manufacturing outsourcers and the staff of the company entrusted with the warehouse management
- Integration of the local WMS Stocker system with SAP erp
- Translate logistics and warehouse needs into IT flows
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE
- Strong PC skills: Excel, Access and AutoCAD
- Understanding of main production and logistics processes of a manufacturing plant
- Knowledge of distribution logistics flows
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in using in SAP erp
- Experience in using in WMS Stockager erp
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Education - Degree in Management or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. A focus on Logistics and Warehouse topics would be a plus
- Experience – 1-2y experience in logistics or warehouse roles
- Languages - Fluent English knowledge (B2 or superior). Italian is required.
